Vintage Roots. Modern Edge.

Rooted in Alsace, a French region where textile craftsmanship has flourished for centuries, Lavigny reinterprets the iconic indiennes that once revolutionized European fashion. First emerging in the 18th century in Mulhouse, these vibrant printed cottons evolved alongside industrialisation and the refinement of textile printing techniques.
Our scarves pay tribute to this rich heritage while embracing the spirit of modern luxury. Designed with care and printed in Alsace, each piece captures the essence of tradition reimagined.
At Lavigny, Made in France is more than a label: it’s the very fabric of our craft.

In the 19th century, the Manufacture d’Impression de Wesserling, nestled in a picturesque Alsatian valley, was a centre of textile innovation, combining industrial expertise with bold artistic vision.
The motif featured on this scarf is a contemporary reimagining of a design from 1885. Originally printed on a fabric swatch preserved in the historical archives of the Wesserling textile factory, it has been carefully brought back to life.
With this piece, Lavigny honours a remarkable heritage, reawakening a forgotten motif through a modern lens, and weaving a subtle dialogue between past and present.
